From what i understand this happens when the software becomes "unregistered" or in other words thinks its a trail version and has run its course. ie it needs to think or know its the full deal

Use the Adobe Media Encoder Queue for H.264, MPEG-2, and WMV formats. By default, these formats are no longer enabled in the After Effects render queue.
If you still want to use the After Effects render queue, enable them from the Output preferences.

animate a shape layer fill issue
HI All,
I need to animate a cup full of spoons so I thought to use shape layers to do so...(IF there is a better way please let me know) I need the spoons to bend after animation the position to spell out a Title.
My challenge is the Fill. I want the Elipse end of my spoon to be filled with my color choice, yet the handle which is an >ADD path via T.L when the path is animated to bend the spoon to confom to the shape of a letter, the fill is there on the handle. I need the two to be connected so when animating they follow one another. As I also want to duplicate as many letters as possible to save editing time. This way I only need to duplicate and then position as I work through the spelling out of the title.
Thanks for any help on this in advance.

From what I have seen in tutorial videos of late, is that Adobe is really wanting to push output over to ME via Media Link for CC users. This way us old timers using Cs6 feel like we need to upgrade. Due to we must save the file, open ME, Render to get our desired output for delivery.

I think you are stating that you have camera movement of a hand held, and the still you have in the BG looks un-naturally still.
This is where you want to apply :
Track motion>Tracktype- Transform>>Add Rotation,Scale Set your Options to (extrapolate Motion) Clean up your KF's after track via delete the ones that are unwanted. Less then 80% or more confidence, edit to suit. Since AE will interpolate the movement.
EDIT> also under option you have choices for saturation or color. That neck line of blue to flesh is a good RGB choice-
If your track moves your BG all Willy Nilly'
Solve it:
Open the BG layer's Anchor Point Scrub to fit to frame.
Now you can use a Null to attach both layers to if you desire a Zoom, pan so both are tied together

Nothing has been taken away from you. All that you need to do is check one checkbox, and everything is back to the way it used to be.
However, there was a very good set of reasons for this change, to nudge people to AME for delivery formats: The AME implementation of these formats is much, much better than the exporters for these formats in After Effects. If we had taken the time to incorporate the AME versions into After Effects, we would have had to pull resources from core After Effects features.

After effects EXTREMELY LAGGY
Hey guys, this is a huge problem I really hope you guys can fix. So I am on AE CS6 Version 11.0.2.11 and I am working on a project in a composition with some effects, but not NEARLY enough to cause this much of a problem. So, with these effects, every time I try move a keyframe, or adjust the CTI, or change a single value, After effects lags and freezes for like 1 minute and then continues on normally just to present me with the same issue. So basically every time I make edits in my composition after effects freezes up.
Now for the specs....
- MacBook Pro on OS X Lion 10.7.5
- 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 Processor
- 16 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 RAM
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB
In the Media disc cache section of preferences, I have 500 GB alotted on an SSD 1TB external drive (Yes I have tried emptying disk cache)
Everything in the discussion has worked extremely well on my machine, and the problem came up just recently.
-OpenGL is disabled
These are all of the effects included (please note I have used all of the without problem):
-Twixtor
-3d camera tracker
-Trapcode Shine
I am also working with 29.97 Fps 1280 x 720 dimensions. The file is a .mp4 with a H.264 and AAC codec.
I really don't know what the problem is. If you are reading this PLEASE take a shot at fixing this. I will be happy to supply ANY more information you guys need so just ask! Thank you for your time.

Effects won't work on Text in After Effects
I must be missing some crucial step because I can't get effects to work on my text. I downloaded After Effects CC. I write text, put a solid, ramped background, add an effect, add a keyframe for the effect and see nothing. I copy what tutorials tell me. Nothing. Should if be difficult to see these effects? I tried CC Light Rays and Light Sweep. Just any effect in general won't apply to a text. I can't see it in FULL rendering or in Half/Rough Draft (which is where I want to work).

Stamp tool on changing selection
I am trying to select two moving animals in a video and replace them with a stamp of an area of the background. (the final video would look like a grassy plain with grass-filled animal outlines moving in the center)
Does anyone have advice about the best way to do this? Should I somehow export it and make the selection in photoshop for each frame? Or would a motion tracker be able to automate the selection? And how would I apply the stamp?
I have been doing searches on this and I'm finding parts but not the whole picture on how to make this happen. Partly because I am completely new to the program I am having trouble connecting the dots.
