typo, i found out how to change the frams to seconds. Sry
disable the proportional spacing option in the effect settings.
i made a template and got fair results using timewarp. it wasn't really made for that, but
but here's a product you could try
[Link to product that will allow theft of intellectual property removed... Mod]
yeah buddy! also have to animate tracking it seems, but that's ok
Cheers,
if you go into the options at the top of the effect settings you can reset the alignment to control which direction the number grows too.
yes? hmm link was deleted for some reason. the product is Remove Logo Now!
and on another note, if its your own incorrectly burned in hdmi footage, i don't think copyright issues apply
I'm having difficulty getting this transition smoothly in my motion graphics animation. I'm sure you've all seen this, a person walks from one room to the next and a wall merges these two rooms together. Camera follows the whole time.
Currently, both compositions are 3d (to get a 2.5D effect) with a camera moving both comps. I've tried putting the "wall" in the first composition and 3ding it and then putting both compositions in one comp together. Of course the "wall" doesn't appear in the second composition.
How do I get this to work?
I've seen videos where the compositions are placed together in one comp. The wall is on a layer above both and keyframed so it stays in place. This just seems rudimentary and I'm sure there's a different way of getting the same effect.
Any assistance appreciated.
Recently I've been taking a lot of pseudo-motion typography projects. The PSDs I've been getting from designers to animate often make use of Photoshop's Warped Text option to bend and arch text in ways that, so far, I'm not able to recreate after importing the layer and converting it to text. I can use the layer as footage just fine, but if I want to use the text animation function in AE CS6 I have to convert the layer to editable text which removes the warping. I've tried using combinations of paths, mesh distort and even puppet tool to try and mimic the original design, but either I can't get close to the original look or the distortion noticeably degrades the quality of the text.
Does anyone have any good techniques for bringing these layers in without losing the distortion? Am I perhaps missing a step that would normally bring the warping with it AND be editable text?

I'm not overly critical of AE's appearance/feature set. In fact, the biggest UI issue I have is the move to blue elements instead of orange (blue is hard work for our eyes to resolve). This thread discusses the UX and Adobe's failure to improve it.
You're using a dead feature is all. AE is now integrated and comes with C4D so there's not much reason to be using the raytrace 3D that I know of. BTW just because it says the card isn't supported doesn't necessarily mean you cannot use the feature. Just dismiss the warning and try it. Usually official GPU support for any program just means the card has been tested with the software, not that you can't use it.
Also you're wasting your time checking every month to see if it's supported as Adobe is no longer developing Raytrace 3D...havent been for the last few versions.
Not sure why your renders are taking so long...
I have a i7 2600 and can render a 6 minute project with motion blure in about half an hour.
Diectselect file and move(?) Don t exist in support file
What should i do? Sorry i m not good at english
Hey guys,
i got an pretty annoying problem in After Effects.
Every time i try to render a composition to prores, after effects freezes immediately at the beginning of the rendering process. (http://fs5.directupload.net/images/160217/wqokxoc2.jpg)
This occurs AE2014 as well as in AE2015 on macos yosemite (10.10.5)
Exports to Animation, H264, DNxHD etc. are no problem at all so i have to assume there is something broken with prores on our system.
I tried various things on my own of course but couldn`t get to the bottom of this until now, so i guess thats why i am here.
Here is what i did so far:
- deleted/moved all quick time components in /Library/QuickTime temporarily
- disabled multi frame rendering in After Effects
- disabled audio in the export window
- purged disk/database caches in After Effects
QuickTime Player 10 and 7 are installed on the system too.
Do you have any idea how i can solve this problem?
Thank you
Dennis
die fehlermeldung dabei lautet: "after effects fehler: <772> <ae.blitpipe> <2> Making New Context"
I would replace your 2 separate camera's with one unified camera, and put everything inside a master comp- with collapse transform enabled on each precomp. Like this:
• Place your 2 precomps together inside a new master comp.
• Inside the master comp, enable 3D and collapse transform on each precomp layer, then position them in 3D space.
• Add your "wall", and a camera into the master comp.
"Hardly intuitive" is masterful understatement. You must be British
Rick Gerard is a stalwart of AE - what he knows is amazing. His brain his hardwired to work around the foibles, limitations and feebleness of AE's workflows and user paradigms. And he accepts it, warts and all, like a doting parent. Incredible human.
I, on the other hand, have nothing but disdain for the atrophy of Adobe's products and their failure to hire designers to design their software. Adobe is making more money than at any time in its history. And worse products, too.
No problem!
What exact version of CC 2015 are you using? Is it 13.7.0?
The preview panel has a lot of options to it including the option to mute audio previews if playback isn't real time, but those options have changed quite a bit, so which version you're using matters.
Thank you for your help. When I try that I get an error message "The specified transform file could not be loaded. Malformed color triples specified in Iridas.cube lut:'LUT_1D_INPUT_RANGE -0.01(ect) 54.8(ect)'." (ect being the rest of the numbers past the decimal point.) I've come across this problem before in dealing with HDR productions and and it seems like it become more of an issue as time goes along.
