Still i couldn't understand why After Effects can not utilize the full power of pc hardware.
"right click the offline media that is causing you problems and instead of replacing the footage with a "file..." replace it with a "placeholder...". Even though that's what you've already got by default when a clip is offline, it seemed (at least for me) that generating a new placeholder fixed the issue and then I could replace with footage without any problems (it even found my other footage then, so I didn't have to do this process on every single offline clip)."
Same problem. This solution worked me! Thanks!
Hello,
What format is your original file? I mean the file which is "Unsupported video bit depth in source file". Do you have any difference between your current AE CC 2017 and AE used last November?
Hello,
Mettle FreeForm might be another solution. It is a plug-in for After Effects.
Hello,
What error message did you get from Maya live link? What position is wrong? XYZ axis all or Z axis only?
Hello,
When the mouse cursor ativates Name: field, Export Motion Graphics Template button is not clickable. But the screen shot seems fine. When you add "Add Comment" below the window as a test, is it still inactive?

Hello,
I am writing this on behalf of a colleague who is having trouble adding properties to his Premiere Pro Motion Graphic.
If he attempts to drag and drop a supported property in the Essentials Graphics box, nothing happens. No errors, no crashes, nothing. He is using the latest version of After Effects (2017.2). Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this problem as well.
Any help would be much appreciated.
My best,
Matt
So recently when I try to import my composition into Media Encoder CC 2017, it doesn't work. Sometimes I get an error message saying "Connecting to Dynamic Server Link Failed" and sometimes I don't. I have my error logs from one of the times it hasn't worked HERE. It has always worked before a little while ago. I tried reinstalling both programs with no luck. I am running After Effects CC 2017 and Media Encoder CC 2017. Here is a screenshot of what happens:
Any help is appreciated!
Paint & Stick may also be an option depending on what exactly you need
Did you try ditching the prefs? When you reinstalled, did you reinstall AE and AME? Did you click on the option to remove the preferences and settings?
Have you checked out the Multipass feature of Cineware? If you import a 3D object via Cineware you can import a UV pass into AE which may help you. There are also the old 3D effects which allow you to access UV tagging info from a 3D rendered RLA or RPF sequence. Let me know if you need more info on these.
Although this doesn't give you exactly what you want it may help with compositing UV info.
Substance Painter is worth checking out too;
Substance Painter - 3D Painting Software
And, have you tried BodyPaint?
hope this helps,

The properties should be added in the After Effects project. Only properties added there will be accessible in Premiere Pro. Have the properties he is trying to access been added to the template in AE?
Hope this helps,

Try this YouTube tutorial.
Adobe After Effects Tutorial - Trapcode Particular Presets - YouTube
Or use one of the Smoke pesets as a starting point. If you have the presets that come free with particular these should help you get started.
Here's a tutorial I did way back on how to use particle systems to create fire. Although it's not exactly what you're after it does a good job of explaining how particle systems work and how to control them.
Hope this helps,

Hey Kevin,
no there isn't a viable solution for me yet...
Still Bluescreens in Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro.
I installed the new Nvidia update from 24/08. Nothing changed. I played around with sound devices etc, but nothing helped.
I can load a frame in after effects, but when i try to move this picture around in the preview window i get a bluescreen.
I ve seen a lot of peoples with the new x299 platform reporting errors like this, but not everyone..
Is there any news from adobe's side?
Best regards,
Manuel
Absolutely. You need to check Render Settings -> Save -> Compositing project file- > Include 3d data. If you render on a single machine, .aec file is automatically generated when you render, otherwise you can click Save project file. Save checkboxes need to be checked.
The other part you need to be aware is how your axis is positioned. Click Enable axis modification (left toolbar icon or shortcut L) and modify it. Try a few options, one is certainly going to be correct.
Issue was never resolved. For project files., take a look here: VIDEO COPILOT | After Effects Tutorials, Plug-ins and Stock Footage for Post Production Professionals . There is download project button on the right.
He meant YOUR project file (.aep), not the tutorial project files.
