Re: After Effects CC 2019 RAM preview skips frames on RAM Preview every time.
Did you try to set the work area to the area you want to preview? so no need to wait the RAM preview for the entire composition.

Same problem here. I have tried all the tricks from this forum.
1000 frames in 360° 6k/4k/1080 29,97fps as mp4, tiff, jpg and png sequence etc.
It didn't help at all. => "unable to acquire rendered frame."
Also the 24th Tracker start did not bring any improvement. it always breaks off. once earlier, once later.
The basic problem: we work here on client projects.
It can't be due at the PC. (i9-9900, 32gb-ram 3200mhz, 7000 cuda cores, m2 system and m2 data etc.)
i despair of it. o.O

If I were you I would just google "best graphic cards for under 100EUR" & go with an nVidia card. All in all with the i3 and only 8GBs of RAM you should not have very expectations.

same problem here.
AE and PPro won't start.
PPro > could not find any capable video play modules.
Please update your video display drivers and start again. > which I did with the same result.
AE stops in crash report screen.
Other CC programs seem to work fine.

Fair enough. It's a matter of semantics, I suppose. You may "experience" low performance.
I'm sorry i could not give you a personal recommendation apart from "googling it" but I have no "experience" (hehe) with these low end cards. Hopefully someone who uses a card in your price range will chime in.

Basically, my After Effects crashes every time I use it. I always have to restart my laptop so I can finish the project I'd be working on. It gets really frustrating because I have to do it constantly! I do have the latest driver and version of Windows installed, so I can attempt to turn off the audio device for a while. Other than that, or there any other solutions?

Since graphics cards have very little impact on AE speed or performance, and processor speed and amount of memory DO have an impact, I'd say get what you can afford and don't expect miracles -- you won't see any.

I made sure everything was updated. I went back in to AE and saved the project to make sure any affect the updates might have had would be saved. I did the same with Premier, and then I used Media Encoder to finalize. Here are my settings in Encoder:
I still got a messed up file. This time, it blacked out my whole computer screen after a few seconds, and then I couldn't even shut it down with CTRL+ALT+DEL! What in the world is going on? I can play other MP4 videos just fine, so its not VLC or Windows Media Player.

Thank you for all your help. Yes, i use a Dell Alienware Desktop and he usually handles Adobe and other graphic applications easily.
Photoshop is working just perfect and so are other GPU heavy apps like ZBrush, Maya, Blender, Unreal etc. However, Premiere Pro CC 2019 has stopped working aswell and giving me the same message.
I tested After Effects CC 2015 and this version is working without problems. Any other versions above that fail on start. I am still clueless about this.

AE Composition Screen Freezes After Certain Actions...
Hi,
So I'm not sure how to even process what's happening to my AE here... There are times when it works, and times where it doesn't. I've had it work fine for 2 days in a roll and then all of a sudden it'll stop working. Sometimes I'll turn off my computer and it'll work, and other times it doesn't. I have no idea what is causing this issue. This is a brand new computer and so I figure everything should have ran fine up to now, but nope~
As you can see from the video, the Composition Screen "works" but it never displays the video when it doesn't work properly. And closing the Composition Screen will freeze AE altogether. I've tried this on AE 2019 and 2018 and both cause this issue. I've tried this on a FRESH install of AE without any plugins as well.
Currently running:
Windows 10 Pro 64bit (Version 10.0.17763 Build 17763)
Intel i9-9900k
ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO
64GB DDR4 3733MHz
GeForce 980
&
AE CC 2019 (V. 16.0.0 Build 235)
My video card and windows updates are up to date. I've installed all drivers through DriverEasy. At this point, I'm baffling and at a loss for words. I'm not even sure a format will help because I think I've already tried that solution as well..
Any help at this point will be greatly appreciated.

Any AI file prepared for video should only have one artboard. All artwork, including any clipping paths, must be inside the artboard. You should work with an artboard that is the same size as your comp in points or pixels. You should also have the document set up for RGB and measurements set to points or pixels. You should also have "snap to pixel" turned on and work with lines that have at least a 3 point stroke.
